Horsemanship Clinic

Tomorrow is the clinic with Marv Amlin. Unfortunately I am not participating but will be auditing. I am looking forward to it! It has been a very busy week, worked at the Vet Clinic Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and today. Am a bit tired tonight, Clinic was busy as per usual. We rode our first practice for our Drill Team last night, was lots of fun. I rode Totie and he did very well, a little nervous at times but handled it well. He will do fine. He is so nice to ride, but his stride is so much bigger than everyone else's I hope we can fit in. I think it will be a very good thing to have the time to ride with the girls. Lots of laughs to be had.

They're Done!

Well, our new shelters are Done! Yahoo!!! It is so nice to see them up after all this time! I think the horses like them too. Just have to pull a few more stumps and the pens will be good. Some of those are pretty stubborn tho.

Upsetting Week

This week has been pretty upside down. Our sweet puppy, Samson was killed by our neighbor (ran over him) and Beamer got herself caught in the fence and cut her leg badly. She is healing very well though, just takes time. It has been cool so no flies. We miss our Sammy so much though, so does Pluto and Sparky. Lynn & Mel have almost finished the last shelter too - yay! The fall colours are getting so beautiful, but it feels like winter is close.

Stars Really Foxy

Got Foxy's registration papers back today and her official name is Stars Really Foxy. Her colour has changed so much now and she doesn't look like a fox anymore! She is also getting sclera and white hairs on her rump and flanks so she may colour out yet. What a sweetheart too.

My Buds

Here's Magic, Babe and Scoot trying to convince me to bring them in! Always think there is something good in it for them......big bums!

Melina

Here is my new farmstay kiddo! Mel is from Germany and is turning out to be a great help to me. We have been doing lots of riding and I am getting some miles on these young geldings finally! With Krissie back in college I am very happy to have Mel here, not nearly so lonely.
